Because of the ongoing government shutdown, hundreds of people supported by Trinity Services will lose access to their SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits on November 1. These benefits help cover the cost of groceries and essential nutrition for the people with developmental disabilities and those with mental health needs in our residential program.
Without these funds, Trinity must step in to fill the gap—an unexpected cost of approximately $100,000 each month—to ensure that no one we support goes without food.
We are committed to providing nutritious meals and maintaining stability in the lives of the people we serve. However, we can’t do it alone.
We’re asking our Trinity family—people like you who understand the importance of dignity, independence, and compassion—to help bridge this critical gap. Your donation, of any amount, will directly offset food costs for the people who are most vulnerable to this disruption.
Please give today to help us continue providing the care and security that everyone deserves, regardless of government circumstances.
